Like all good fibre networks they want to test and validate every single connection, however doing this the “old way” would take more than a year for even the most surface level validation. The most essential validation checks in this context would be:

• Length Matching (ensuring that the trace length matches the expected length) as this indicates if a fibre has been spliced incorrectly, or broken during the initial deployment,
• and, Connection Loss; checking for dirty connectors, bad splices, and bends.

Our platform, enables Wyre to automatically validate their entire network in under 5 hours, which is a significant improvement compared to the “Old Way” which would have taken more than a year.
